Day 1: Arusha – Mount Meru – Arusha

Your day begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha and a transfer to Arusha National Park. After completing the necessary park formalities, meet your professional hiking guide and begin your trek.

The trail takes you through the beautiful forested slopes of Mount Meru. Along the way, you may encounter wildlife such as giraffes, buffaloes, monkeys and various bird species, accompanied by spectacular views of the surrounding landscape.

Continue hiking towards the designated turnaround point, enjoying the peaceful mountain environment and taking time for photographs and a packed lunch.

After completing the hike, descend back to the park gate and meet your vehicle for the transfer back to Arusha, arriving in the afternoon or early evening.
