Day to day itineraries

Day 1: Pick up at the airport; overnight at Linden Lodge.

Description: Meet your driver-guide at the airport and transfer to Linden Lodge. Relax after your journey, enjoy the surroundings and receive a briefing about the safari route and activities ahead.

 

Day 2: Foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro — overnight at Njiro Legacy.

Description: Explore the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro and enjoy views of the mountain landscape. Depending on conditions and the selected activity, the experience may include a short nature or cultural visit before returning toward Arusha for the night.

 

Day 3: Tarangire — overnight at Elen Tree.

Description: Head to Tarangire National Park for game viewing among its iconic baobabs and elephant herds. Explore the park’s riverine areas and open savannah, watching for giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, lions and other wildlife before staying at Elen Tree.

 

Day 4: Central Serengeti — overnight at Golden Safari Camp.

Description: Continue exploring Central Serengeti with another full day of game drives. The day can be tailored around wildlife movements, scenic viewpoints and areas with good chances of seeing big cats and other plains animals.

 

Day 5: Central Serengeti — overnight at Golden Safari Camp.

Day 6: Central Serengeti — overnight at Golden Safari Camp.

Description: Spend the day on extended game drives in Central Serengeti, exploring the plains and surrounding habitats. Enjoy wildlife viewing at a comfortable pace before returning to Golden Safari Camp for the evening.

 

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater; drop-off at Arusha Airport and take a flight to Zanzibar.

Description: Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a final wildlife experience, with opportunities to see elephants, lions, buffalo, hippos and other animals. After the crater tour, transfer to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar.
